Audi

Volkswagen’s parent company, Audi, is redefining its global brand promise as a manufacturer of all-electric vehicles (BEVs). It is shifting from a narrow focus on technical feasibility to a customer-centric approach. In addition, it is playing a leading role in Group research and development, establishing a new unit for new vehicle projects, the Artemis unit.

Bentley

Since 1998, Volkswagen has been associated with the Bentley marque. Bentley owner Vickers put the company up for sale in 1997 and BMW offered PS340 million for it. BMW was already supplying the company with engines and other components.

Lamborghini

Since 1998, the Lamborghini brand has been under the Volkswagen Group’s umbrella. However, the company has not been known for mass production. Instead, the company has always specialized in perfection and madness. There are only three models currently in production and only 14 have been produced since the brand was founded in 1963.

Bugatti

In recent months, Volkswagen has been looking into a potential sale of the Bugatti brand. The German company is hoping to position the Bugatti brand as a leading EV manufacturer. Porsche, which controls a quarter of Rimac, is also interested in the brand. Volkswagen’s Herbert Diess is hopeful that the two companies can reach an agreement before the end of 2020.

VW Group

The Volkswagen Group is an internationally recognized automaker headquartered in Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony, Germany. The company produces many different types of vehicles, including compact cars, luxury cars, and sports utility vehicles.

Volkswagen Beetle

The Volkswagen Beetle was an inexpensive and practical car, with a sleek, curved design and a rear-wheel-drive layout. Its small stature and air-cooled engine made it easy to maintain and inexpensive to own. In addition, it offered excellent handling and reliability.

Tiguan

The Volkswagen Tiguan offers a wealth of advanced technologies. The standard infotainment system has a small touch screen, and the base setup offers physical controls and a hard menu layout. The higher-level trims offer touch-sensitive steering-wheel buttons and climate controls. However, these features aren’t always as intuitive as they should be.

Touareg

The Volkswagen Touareg is a utility vehicle that emphasizes fuel efficiency. Its diesel version has a low-rpm, near-silent engine, which is a nice change from the noisy, exhaust-spewing V8s in gasoline SUVs. The diesel variant was originally available with a low-range transfer case, but it was discontinued due to low take rates. However, the regular layout still works just fine.

Tiguan e-hybrid

The Volkswagen Tiguan e-Hybrid is a hybrid that runs on electricity. It combines a TSI-Benzin engine and electric motor to provide excellent fuel efficiency. In addition to fuel efficiency, this plug-in hybrid is also very comfortable to drive. It can reach sixty miles per gallon on the highway in just 7.5 seconds, and it offers excellent handling and braking. It is also very spacious and offers a high quality cabin.

Touareg electric motor hybrid

The Volkswagen Touareg is a hybrid SUV that uses an electric motor to drive the front wheels. Its battery-powered electric motor can generate up to 100 kW of power. The vehicle can also tow up to 3.5 tons of cargo using a trailer. Volkswagen calls this hybrid vehicle a PHEV or plug-in hybrid vehicle. It has an eight-speed automatic transmission and a transfer box for sending power between the rear and front axles. The system uses a Torsen central differential lock, which can send up to 70 percent of the power to the front wheels, while the remainder can be routed to the rear.
